Reindeer paper squishy: free printable template

A round reindeer with little antlers and a shiny red nose. Download the free A4 PDF, cut it out, fold, glue and stuff it with cotton wool to make a soft Christmas squishy in about 30 minutes.

Free, no sign-up, nothing is uploaded. Made for kids aged about 6 to 10 with a grown-up nearby for the scissors.

How to make it

  1. Print the template. Print the PDF on A4 paper at 100% scale (choose "actual size", not "fit to page"). Thicker paper works best.
  2. Cut it out. Cut out every piece. Where a piece has a grey rim of glue tabs, cut along the outer edge of the rim. Ask a grown-up to help younger children with the scissors.
  3. Fold the tabs. Fold along the dashed lines so the grey glue tabs stand up.
  4. Glue it together. Put glue on the grey tabs and stick the pieces together, one side at a time. Leave one side open.
  5. Stuff and close. Fill it with cotton wool until it is soft and squeezy, then glue the last side closed.

The Reindeer girl paper doll goes with this squishy: A reindeer girl in a brown sweater dress with an antler headband, a little red nose and red boots. Print both for a Christmas set.

Questions

Is the reindeer squishy template free?

Yes. The PDF is free to download and print, and the online maker needs no sign-up, no account and no payment.

What size is it and how do I print it?

Print on A4 paper at 100% scale ("actual size"). The finished squishy is about 6 cm wide. Thicker paper gives a sturdier squishy.

Can I change the colours and face of the reindeer?

Yes. Open the reindeer in the Makesquishy maker to change colour, pattern, face, stickers and name, then print your own version.

Do the antlers need gluing on?

No. The antlers are part of the reindeer-shaped template, so you cut, fold and glue it like the other squishies.

What do I need to make it?

A printer, A4 paper, scissors, glue or tape and cotton wool for stuffing. Coloured pencils are optional if you want to add your own details.
