# Free printable Summer paper squishies

Three summer paper squishies to print and make for the summer holidays: ice cream, watermelon and popsicle. Each one is a free A4 template you cut, fold, glue and stuff with cotton wool. Or open it in the maker and design your own first.

## Pick a Summer squishy

- [Ice cream](https://makesquishy.com/summer/icecream): A scoop of pink ice cream on a crunchy waffle cone with sprinkles.
- [Watermelon](https://makesquishy.com/summer/melon): A juicy watermelon slice with black seeds and a green rind.
- [Popsicle](https://makesquishy.com/summer/popsicle): A two-tone popsicle on a wooden stick with a sleepy smile.

## How to make a paper squishy

1. **Print the template.** Print the PDF on A4 paper at 100% scale (choose "actual size", not "fit to page"). Thicker paper works best.
2. **Cut it out.** Cut out every piece. Where a piece has a grey rim of glue tabs, cut along the outer edge of the rim. Ask a grown-up to help younger children with the scissors.
3. **Fold the tabs.** Fold along the dashed lines so the grey glue tabs stand up.
4. **Glue it together.** Put glue on the grey tabs and stick the pieces together, one side at a time. Leave one side open.
5. **Stuff and close.** Fill it with cotton wool until it is soft and squeezy, then glue the last side closed.
