How to make a printable paper doll

  1. Pick a doll. Choose a color or one of the ready-made dolls.
  2. Choose her clothes. Try dresses, tops, skirts, jackets, socks, shoes, hats, animal ears and hair clips. Tap a piece to wear it, tap again to take it off.
  3. Download, print and cut. Press Done, then Download PDF. You get a naked doll and only the clothes you picked, each with a dashed cut line.

Tips for printing paper dolls

  • Print on A4 paper at 100% size ("Actual size"). Thicker paper or light card makes sturdier dolls.
  • On US Letter paper, choose "Fit to page". The doll and her clothes shrink together, so everything still fits.
  • Cut out the doll and each dashed piece. Please help younger children with the scissors.
  • Stick the doll on card or an old cereal box for a doll that stands up to lots of dress-up play.
