## What is in the costume

- Penguin dress with a white tummy and orange feet
- Round penguin ears
- Striped socks
- Slippers

## How to make it

1. **Print the sheet.** Print the PDF on A4 paper at 100% scale (choose "actual size", not "fit to page"). Thicker paper or light card makes a sturdier doll.
2. **Cut out the doll.** Cut around the doll. Ask a grown-up to help younger children with the scissors.
3. **Cut out the clothes.** Cut along the dashed line around each piece of clothing.
4. **Dress the doll.** Lay each piece on the doll and fold it around. Mix and match with any other doll sheet.

## Ideas to make it your own

- Change the accent colour to pink for a bright beak.
- Add the Beanie for a cold-day penguin.
- Print the penguin squishy to match.

## Questions

### Is the penguin girl paper doll free to print?

Yes. The PDF is free to download and print, and the dress-up tool needs no sign-up, no account and no payment.

### How do I print and cut it out?

Print on A4 paper at 100% scale ("actual size"). Cut out the doll, then cut along the dashed line around each piece of clothing. Stick the doll on card for a sturdier toy.

### Can I change the penguin girl costume?

Yes. Open the penguin girl in the paper doll maker to change her clothes, hair, colours and accessories, then download your own PDF.

### Why is the penguin dress black and white?

The dress uses the colour theme you pick: black gives a classic penguin, and any other colour makes a fun new kind of penguin.

### Are these licensed cartoon characters?

No. All the dolls are original characters made for Makesquishy.
