# About Makesquishy

Makesquishy is a free web app where kids design their own paper squishy, then print a template to cut, fold, glue and stuff with cotton wool. You pick a shape (cube, milk carton, cookie, butter stick, bubble tea, bao bun or peach), decorate every side with colors, patterns, cute faces and stickers, and print the result on ordinary A4 paper.

## Who makes it

Makesquishy is made and run by [avo42](https://avo42.com/), a small independent studio that designs, builds and ships digital products. Contact: m@avo42.com or the [contact page](https://makesquishy.com/contact).

## Our principles

- **Free:** no payment, no accounts and no sign-up.
- **Private:** no ads and no tracking cookies. Designs stay in your browser on your own device. See the [privacy notice](https://makesquishy.com/privacy).
- **Made for kids:** built for children aged about 6-10, used with a parent or carer nearby. Please help younger children with the scissors.

## How it works

Choose a shape, decorate it, then print it at 100% scale on A4 paper (thicker paper works best). Cut along the outline, fold along the lines, glue or tape the tabs and stuff it with cotton wool for a soft, squeezable toy. More shapes are on the way.
